Our Story
Created by Chef Ferrell Alvarez (2017 James Beard Foundation semi-finalist, Best Chef South), his longtime business-partner, friend and restaurateur, Ty Rodriguez and entrepreneur Chon Nguyen.
Proper House Group, a Tampa-based hospitality group known for several widely acclaimed restaurants in the Tampa Bay region, including Rooster & the Till (2022, 2023 Michelin Bib Gourmand Recipient, named No. 1 restaurant in the Tampa Bay Times - 2018 + 2019), Ash (Italian-inspired cuisine in Water Street), Alter Ego (Water Street), Gallito Taqueria (three locations: The Collective, Sparkman Wharf and The Joinery), and Dang Dude (two locations: The Collective and Sparkman Wharf).
Creative spins on dumplings, pot stickers, double fried Asian style chicken wings, rou-jia-mo (house made Chinese flatbread stuffed with either pork, beef or tofu) boba and boozy boba.
Using vegan, home-made fish sauce, gluten free noodles and dumpling wrappers when and where possible.
